BRITISH BIAS AGAINST THE JEWS IN PALESTINE - ISRAEL - YJ Draiman

1

BRITISH BIAS AGAINST THE JEWS IN PALESTINE - Israel

An analysis of land purchases from 1880 to 1948 show that 76 percent of Jewish plots were purchased- from large landowners, not poor fellahin. Those who sold land included the mayors of Gaza, Jerusalem and Jaffa. As’ad el-Shuqeiri, a Muslim religious scholar and father of PLO chairman Ahmed Shuqeiri, took Jewish money for his land. Even King Abdullah leased land to the Jews. In fact, many leaders of the Arab nationalist movement, including members of the Muslim Supreme Council, sold land to Jews. “The British helped the Palestinians to live peacefully with the Jews.” In 1921, Haj Amin el- Husseini first began to organize Fedayeen (“one who sacrifices himself”) to terrorize Jews. Haj Amin hoped to duplicate the success of Kemal Atatürk in Turkey by driving the Jews out of Palestine just as Kemal had driven the invading Greeks from his country. Arab radicals were able to gain influence because the British Administration was unwilling to take effective action against them until they finally revolted against British rule. Colonel Richard Meinertzhagen, former head of British military intelligence in Cairo, and later Chief Political Officer for Palestine and Syria, wrote in his diary that British officials “incline towards the exclusion of Zionism in Palestine.” In fact, the British encouraged the Arab-Palestinians to attack the Jews. According to Meinertzhagen, Col. Waters-Taylor (financial adviser to the Military Administration in Palestine 1919–1923) met with Haj Amin a few days before Easter, in 1920, and told him “he had a great opportunity at Easter to show the world . . . that Zionism was unpopular not only with the Palestine Administration but in Whitehall, and if disturbances of sufficient violence occurred in Jerusalem at Easter, both General Bols [Chief Administrator in Palestine, 1919–1920] and General Allenby [Commander of Egyptian Force, 1917–1919, then High Commissioner of Egypt] would advocate the abandonment of the Jewish Home. Waters- Taylor explained that freedom could only be attained through violence.” Haj Amin took the Colonel’s advice and instigated a riot. The British withdrew their troops and the Jewish police from Jerusalem, allowing the Arab mob to attack Jews and loot their shops. Because of Haj Amin’s overt role in instigating the pogrom, the British decided to arrest him. Haj Amin escaped, however, and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in absentia. A year later, some British Arabists convinced High Commissioner Herbert Samuel to pardon Haj Amin and to appoint him Mufti. By contrast, Vladimir Jabotinsky and several of his followers, who had formed a Jewish defense organization during the unrest, were sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment. Samuel met with Haj Amin on April 11, 1921, and was assured “that the influences of his family and himself would be devoted to tranquility.” Three weeks later, riots in Jaffa and elsewhere left Jews dead. Haj Amin consolidated his power and took control of all Muslim religious funds in Palestine. He used his authority to gain control over the mosques, the schools and the courts. No Arab could reach an influential position without being loyal to the Mufti. His power was so absolute “no Muslim in Palestine could be born or die without being beholden to Haj Amin.” The Mufti’s henchmen also insured he would have no opposition by systematically killing Palestinians from rival clans who were discussing cooperation with the Jews.
As the spokesman for Palestinian Arabs, Haj Amin did not ask that Britain grant them independence. On the contrary, in a letter to Churchill in 1921, he demanded that Palestine be reunited with Syria and Transjordan.
The Arabs found rioting to be an effective political tool because of the lax British attitude and response toward violence against Jews. In handling each riot, the British did everything in their power to prevent Jews from protecting themselves, but made little or no effort to prevent the Arabs from attacking them. After each outbreak, a British commission of inquiry would try to establish the cause of the violence. The conclusion was always the same: the Arabs were afraid of being displaced by Jews. To stop the rioting, the commissions would recommend that restrictions be placed on Jewish immigration. Thus, the Arabs came to recognize that they could always stop the influx of Jews by staging a riot. This cycle began after a series of riots in May 1921. After failing to protect the Jewish community from Arab mobs, the British appointed the Haycraft Commission to investigate the cause of the violence. Although the panel concluded the Arabs had been the aggressors, it rationalized the cause of the attack: “The fundamental cause of the riots was a feeling among the Arabs of discontent with, and hostility to, the Jews, due to political and economic causes, and connected with Jewish immigration; and with their conception of Zionist policy. . . .” One consequence of the violence was the institution of a temporary ban on Jewish immigration. The Arab fear of being “displaced” or “dominated” was used as an excuse for their merciless attacks on peaceful Jewish settlers. Note, too, that these riots were not inspired by nationalistic fervor—nationalists would have rebelled against their British overlords—they were motivated by racial strife and misunderstanding. In 1929, Arab provocateurs succeeded in convincing the masses that the Jews had designs on the Temple Mount (a tactic that would be repeated on numerous occasions, especially in 2000, after the visit of Ariel Sharon and others including the recent violence in October 2015). In a Jewish religious observance at the Western Wall, that forms a part of the Temple Mount, served as a catalyst for rioting by Arabs against Jews that spilled out of Jerusalem into other villages and towns, including Safed and Hebron. Again, the British Administration made no effort to prevent the violence and, after it began, the British did nothing to protect the Jewish population. After six days of mayhem, the British finally brought troops in to quell the disturbance. By this time, virtually the entire Jewish population of Hebron had fled or been killed. In all, 133 Jews were killed and 399 wounded in the pogroms. After the riots were over, the British ordered an investigation, which resulted in the Passfield White Paper. It said the “immigration, land purchase and settlement policies of the Zionist Organization were already, or were likely to become, prejudicial to Arab interests (the British wanted to control the oil in the Middle East). It understood the Mandatory’s obligation to the non-Jewish community to mean that Palestine’s resources must be primarily reserved for the growing Arab economy. . . .” This, of course, meant it was necessary to place restrictions not only on Jewish immigration but on land purchases. All the while the British turned a blind eye while hundreds of thousands of Arabs entered Western Palestine.
“The Mufti was not anti- Semitic.” In 1941, Haj Amin al- Husseini fled to Germany and met with Adolph Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Joachim Von Ribbentrop and other Nazi leaders. He wanted to persuade them to extend the Nazis’ anti- Jewish program to the Arab world. The Mufti sent Hitler the drafts of declarations he wanted Germany and Italy to make concerning the Middle East. One called on the two countries to declare the illegality of the Jewish home in Palestine. Furthermore, “they accord to Palestine and to other Arab countries the right to solve the problem of the Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries (from about 1940 to date the Arab countries terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and confiscated all their assets including over 70,000 square miles of Jewish owned land), in accordance with the interest of the Arabs and, by the same method; that the question is now being settled in the Axis countries.” In November 1941, the Mufti met with Hitler, who told him the Jews were his foremost enemy. The Nazi dictator rebuffed the Mufti’s requests for a declaration in support of the Arabs; however, telling him the time was not right. The Mufti offered Hitler his “thanks for the sympathy which he had always shown for the Arab and especially Palestinian cause, and to which he had given clear expression in his public speeches. . . . The Arabs were Germany’s natural friends because they had the same enemies as had Germany, namely. . . . The Jews. . . .” Hitler replied: Germany stood for uncompromising war against the Jews. That naturally included active opposition to the Jewish national home in Palestine. . . . Germany would furnish positive and practical aid to the Arabs involved in the same struggle. . . . Germany’s objective [is] . . . solely the destruction of the Jewish element residing in the Arab sphere. . . . In that hour the Mufti would be the most authoritative spokesman for the Arab world. The Mufti thanked Hitler profusely. In 1945, Yugoslavia sought to indict the Mufti as a war criminal for his role in recruiting over 20,000 Muslim volunteers for the SS, who participated in the killing of Jews in Croatia and Hungary. He escaped from French detention in 1946, however, and continued his fight against the Jews from Cairo and later Beirut. “The Irgun bombed the King David Hotel as part of a terror campaign against civilians.” The King David Hotel was the site of the British military command and the British Criminal Investigation Division. The Irgun chose it as a target after British troops invaded the Jewish Agency on June 29, 1946, and confiscated large quantities of documents. At about the same time, more than 2,500 Jews from all over Palestine were placed under arrest. The information about Jewish Agency operations, including intelligence activities in Arab countries, was taken to the King David Hotel. A week later, news of a massacre of 40 Jews in a pogrom in Poland reminded the Jews of Palestine how Britain’s restrictive immigration policy had condemned hundreds of thousands of Jews to death. Irgun leader Menachem Begin stressed his desire to avoid civilian casualties. In fact, the plan was to warn the British so they would evacuate the building before it was blown up. Three telephone calls were placed, one to the hotel, another to the French Consulate, and a third to the Palestine Post, warning that explosives in the King David Hotel would soon be detonated. On July 22, 1946, the calls were made. The call into the hotel was apparently received and ignored. Begin quotes one British official who supposedly refused to evacuate the building, saying: “We don’t take orders from the Jews.” As a result, when the bombs exploded, the casualty toll was high: a total of 91 killed and 45 injured. Among the casualties were 15 Jews. Few people in the hotel proper were injured by the blast.
In contrast to Arab attacks against Jews, which were widely hailed by Arab leaders as heroic actions, the Jewish National Council denounced the bombing of the King David. For decades the British denied they had been warned. In 1979, however, a member of the British Parliament introduced evidence that the Irgun had indeed issued the warning. He offered the testimony of a British officer who heard other officers in the King David Hotel bar joking about a Zionist threat to the headquarters. The officer who overheard the conversation immediately left the hotel and survived.
After WWII; the British actually blew-up Holocaust refugee ships bound for Palestine-Israel known as “Operation Embarrass”.
  • NO JEW HAS THE RIGHT TO GIVE UP
(Eretz Yisrael) THE LAND OF ISRAEL

    By David Ben Gurion
“No Jew has the right to yield the rights of the Jewish People in Israel. No Jew has the authority to do so. No Jewish body has the authority to do so. Not even the entire Jewish People alive today has the right to yield any part of Israel.
It is the right of the Jewish People over the generations, a right that under no conditions can be cancelled. Even if Jews during a specific period proclaim they are relinquishing this right, they have neither the power nor the authority to deny it to future generations. No concession of this type is binding or obligates the Jewish People.
Our right to the country – the entire country – exists as an eternal right, and we shall not yield this historic right until its full and complete redemption is realized.”
This quotation of David Ben Gurion made at the Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland in 1937, more than 65 years ago. At the Freeman Center, we quote this profound statement often.

  • The truth – not the fantasy – is that there was never an independent, sovereign Arab state called Palestine.
Israel is “the only nation in the world that is governing itself in the same territory, under the same name, and with the same religion and same language as it did 3,000 years ago.”
Jerusalem was never the capital of any Arab polity in all of recorded history. Only one people has ever made Jerusalem its capital and only one people ever established their indigenous ancestral and biblical homeland between East of the River Jordan and West to the Mediterranean Sea: the Jews.
Israel was reconstituted in 1920 by the 1920 San Remo Treaty which was confirmed by the 1920 Treaty of Sevres and Lausanne, also by the 1919 Faisal Weitzmann Agreement. The Arabs received at the same time over 5 million sq. miles of territory and the Jewish State was to receive 75,000 sq. miles. In the years before Israel was formally reconstituted and declared sovereign in 1948, the world referred to its Jewish residents as Palestinians. Indeed, the Palestinian military units fighting with the British Army in World War Two were Jewish to the man and woman. Few, if any, Arabs or Muslims fought against the Axis powers during that war and indeed many Arabs served in SS units; often willing collaborators with the Germans in murdering Jewish communities in the Balkans and elsewhere.
Remember, the word Palestine was the name the Romans renamed Israel. The Mandate for Palestine over the territory was granted under international law and treaty by the League of Nations in 1920 to Great Britain with the express duty and obligation of re-establishing within it a Jewish homeland as agreed to in international treaties executed after WWI.
At that time, the Palestine Mandate covered all of what is Israel – including Judea and Samaria, or what is erroneously called the West Bank – and present day Jordan.
What so many in the media forget, if they ever knew, is that after the Ottoman Empire was dismantled by the victorious Allies, France and Britain, at the end of World War One, many new Arab states were created with Palestine reserved exclusively for a Jewish homeland under international law and treaty.
But Britain violated international treaties, thus, it reneged on its duty and obligation to the Jews and tore away four fifths of the Mandate territory in 1922 – that is all the land east of the Jordan River – and arbitrarily gave it away as a new Arab State to the Hashemite Bedouin tribe. Immediately Jews were forbidden to live in what became Trans-Jordan and eventually the Kingdom of Jordan: An early example of ethnic cleansing and Arab apartheid. All Jewish property East of the Jordan River was confiscated and any Jews expelled.
The borders of the Mandate for Palestine as eventually determined; Jordan East of the Jordan River and Israel everything West of the Jordan River including Jerusalem.
Interestingly, Arabs and their leaders had rejected any notion of a separate Palestinian identity. For them, Palestine was merely a part of Greater Syria and the Arabs were indistinct from their neighbors. Indeed, the Syrian dictator, Assad, still plots for the return of Jordan, Israel and the disputed territories.
As far as Palestine was concerned to those Arab absentee landlords of the early years of the 20th century, living in the fleshpots of Cairo, Damascus and Beirut, the land was worthless: desolate, barren and malarial infested.
Then the Jewish pioneers returning in the late 19th century began to purchase the wasted and barren land at exorbitant prices – much higher than fertile land in Iowa and Idaho – drained the swamps and redeem again the ancestral ancient beloved Jewish homeland.
Jewish development of the centuries old desolate and neglected land, restored in familial love through blood, sweat and tears, ironically these brought into the territory hundreds of thousands of illegal Arab aliens who found livelihoods that were unavailable in the stagnant and corrupt neighboring Arab societies.
The British authorities invariably turned a blind eye to the flood of Arab illegal’s seeing in them a stick to beat the Jewish residents. Herein lays the false genesis of the present day Arab claim to all the land and their descendant’s stated threat to extirpate any and all Jewish life within its borders.
So many well-meaning people in the West, as well as latent anti-Semites, have fallen hook, line and sinker for the fabrication, delusion and myth of an Arab homeland called Palestine. So many people now believe the false and deceptive claim by the well-funded Arab deceptive propaganda machine that the Jews came and stole it, which is blatantly false.
But though it sounds affecting and no doubt to the liberal mind particularly emotional with all the tugging of the heart strings that it implies, it is still an absolute lie just like the weed that can never be fully uprooted.
For so many people who are either ignorant or hard hearted towards the Jewish state, they are unaware that the Jews were the aboriginal and remaining indigenous inhabitants for two millennia before the Muslim religion was created and Muslim armies swarmed out of Arabia with a Koran in one hand and a sword in the other to occupy vast territories in the name of Allah, while beheading some of the males, raping the women and taking them as slaves. The pity is that the bible as history is there for all to read. Sadly, so many ignore what is written.
The Arabs have spread over 12 million square kilometers in the Middle East and into North Africa (the Maghreb). Israel’s territory is barely 21,000 square kilometers (it was suppose to be 120,000 sq. km.) and may soon be reduced further in violation of international law and treaties and the Faisal-Weizmann agreement of January 3, 1919, which agreed that all of Palestine is allocated to the Jewish people; if the Jewish biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria is torn from it to create in its midst a terror state called Arab-Palestine: the 23rd Arab state.
When the world extends to the million Jewish refugees who were terrorized, persecuted and expelled from Arab lands and all their assets including 120,000 sq. km/ of real property confiscated nearly 70 years ago the same sympathetic obsession that they extend to the Arabs who needlessly left Israel at the urging’s of the corrupt Arab League, then there maybe hope for a better international community than exists at the present time.

  • Fighting terrorism is not unlike fighting a deadly cancer. It can not be treated just where it is visible – every diseased cell in the body must be destroyed completely with no traces left.
When a poison strikes the human body, the only way to address it, is to remove it and destroy it completely. That is the way the terrorist organizations should be treated.

  • Israel is not in a position to concede more of what it does not have – land and/or security; and what have the Palestinians and their supporters ever conceded? They did not accept the UN mandate giving the Jews a place where they could practice their religion in peace, but have certainly hopped on almost every UN proposal since, the vast majority of which, with few exceptions – being brought up by the increasing number of Arab member states – have criticized and blamed the Israelis for every problem in the Mideast.

  • glenda urmacher
That should be the two partners to a Palestinian state, not little Israel.
And when that happens, let all the Muslims in Israel go there!
Israel is a Jewish country and should stay that way forever.

  • This article should be in the science section. How did you manage to read my mind? If there were a fully independent PA state tomorrow ISIL would eat it for breakfast, leaving the crumbs for Hamas to finish!

  • Your bias appears to be unintentional, but BOY are you biased.
You accuse the IPF of first favoring a Palestinian state, and only as second priority securing Israel’s future. THAT IS YOUR BIASED INTERPRETATION. A Palestinian state is totally an ISRAELI interest, and is the only means by which we can achieve a secure future.
There are only 2 options for the future: a 2-state solution, or a single state. In the borders of greater Israel (the one-state) there are currently 6.1 million Jews and 5.9 million Arabs. And the total Arab birthrate is higher than the Jews.
This means that 30 years down the road, we will either have a single state with an Arab majority, or a Jewish state alongside a Palestinian state. Do you really think the first option is what we must work toward? Is it not strange that the Hamas also want a single-state solution, and reject negotiations ? Maybe they have thought of something that seems to escape you ? That a single state will be an Arab state ?
There is no thought in anybody’s mind that Israel will take the security risk of allowing terrorists overtake a Palestinian state: Israel can and must retain military control. But placing civilian Jewish settlers in the territories does NOT give us security, it totally undermines our security: it is isolating Israel from its allies and their political and material support, it is destroying the moral and ethical base upon which this country was founded, and is the greatest driving force for strengthening the Muslims (or ANYONE, enemies OR friends) against us. (If the authors were born in the west bank under Israeli occupation – would they enjoy it, or would they fight against it ?)
The reality around us dictates that we must make peace and security arrangements with the moderate Arab states, in the fight against the extreme Arab states. The enemy is no longer all the Arabs – it appears to be all the extremists.
Israeli right-wing nationalist bluster hides great fear. And cowards will not win here. We must take risks and be courageous and fight for peace. We have already done that, with significant success, with Egypt and Jordan. Sharon made a mistake in Gaza – so we should learn from that and do better next time. If we simply hide behind refusal, we will have no peace and no future. The lack of settlement with the Palestinians is not weakening them, it is making them stronger nationally and more successful internationally. Time is working AGAINST us. We cannot afford to continue winning more and more wars – we need peace. Because,YES, the world IS changing, and we need the courage and wisdom to change with it. The Nationalists are clinging to old, changed realities, fighting the wrong battle. This is a formula for failure.

    • J
Where are the “courageous” Arab/Palestinians in all of this? What compromise(s) have they made?
How does launching of some 10,000+ rockets into civilian areas of Israel by Hamas and its “partners” constitute “compromise?” Your response, please?

  • aka: the world wants Jews to disappear (not new), and many Jews stand for it (new)

  • Division of the Palestine Mandate at the Jordan River was done by Winston Churchill
We should all remember that the division of the Palestine Mandate at the Jordan River was done by Winston Churchill when he handed over the land to Abdullah as a state for the Muslims. The balance of the land was property that belonged to the Jewish state, later called Israel in 1948. Muslims have no actual claim to the land under western laws, but the Koran tells a different story. That story is especially significant to westerners and Islamic immigration. Under the laws of the Koran (Sharia) wherever Muslims reside that land belongs to them. Barack Hussein Obama stated that “America is one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.” You, as infidels, did not understand what he meant because what he meant had particular meaning to Muslims worldwide: Muslims live in the west and India. That means under Koran law your lands no longer belong to Christians, Jews and Hindus. That spirit of Islam should tell all Americans that Obama is a closet Muslim who perhaps believes he is the Mahdi, or Hidden Imam, or simply a Saudi plant in America. Not a lot of his history makes any sense. How did he get back to America? Born of a Muslim he is a Muslim under the laws of Sharia. He can only be one of two things: An apostate of Islam that needs to be killed for converting to Christianity, or a closet Muslim. I state only logic and understanding of Sharia. Western liberal-leftism and Christian ideology is irrelevant where Islam and Muslims are concerned.
Arabs expelled over a million Jews from all their countries and confiscated all their assets, home businesses and 75,000 sq. miles of Real estate.
The Jewish forced exodus from Arab lands refers to the 20th century expulsion or mass departure of Jews, primarily of Sephardi and Mizrahi background, from Arab and Islamic countries. The forced migration started in the late 19th century, but accelerated after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. According to official Arab statistics, over 989,000 Jews were forced out of their homes in Arab countries from 1948 until the early 1970’s. Some 750,000 resettled in Israel, forced to leave behind personal property which the Arabs confiscated their assets, businesses, homes and Real estate valued today in the trillions of dollars. Jewish-owned real-estate confiscated by the Arab countries is about 120,000 square kilometers or 75,000 square miles (6 times the size of the State of Israel). Valued today in the trillions of dollars.
Israel – In order to consider a new negotiations with the Arab-Palestinians
First thing, let us see the Arab Palestinians stop teaching their children and the masses to commit terror and violence. Stop rewarding terrorists, stop funding terrorists families, stop naming streets after terrorists. Declare and practice that terror and violence is unacceptable. We need to see a change in attitude towards terror and a true and honest pursuit of peace and coexistence.
You can accomplish more with honey than with vinegar.
If that is not possible than there will never be peace.
A true peace will be a blessing and an economic prosperity to all concerned.

  • The Palestinian Arabs are the occupiers of Jewish land by YJ Draiman
The Palestinian Arabs are the occupiers of Jewish land. Tell the world at large that they are delusional in thinking that Arabs belong in Israel. There are 21 Arab countries where the Arab Palestinians came from originally – There will never be an Arab/Palestinian State together or adjacent to Eretz Israel. There has never been such a nation as the Palestinian/Arab People. The Arab/Muslim Koran specifically states in The Qur’an 17:104 – states the land belongs to the Jewish people If the historic documents, comments written by eyewitnesses and declarations by the most authoritative Arab scholars are still not enough, let us quote the most important source for Muslim Arabs: “And thereafter we [Allah] said to the Children of Israel: ‘Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd’.”. Any sincere Muslim must recognize the Land they call “Palestine” as the Jewish Homeland, according to the book considered by Muslims to be the most sacred word and Allah’s ultimate revelation. Any building of housing in The Greater Israel is the right and duty of the Israeli government. There is no such a thing as occupied territory. It is the land of Israel for over 4,000 years. A continuous habitation by Jews, Sequence of historical events, agreements and a non-broken series of treaties and resolutions, as laid out by the San Remo Resolution, the League of Nations and the United Nations, returned to the Jewish People title to the city of Jerusalem and the rest of Greater Israel. Let the Arab nation take the Palestinian Arabs and settle them in the Million plus Jewish home that they evicted from their countries and allow the Jewish nation to live in peace.
A true peace in the Middle East will be an economic phenomenon that the world has never seen. But this can only be accomplished when there is a real peace. The Arabs must stop preaching and teaching hate. Any liberal Israeli that is delusional about Arab intention and wants to give any land in Israel to the Arabs should leave Israel; he does not belong in Israel.

  • Greater Israel belongs to the Jewish people under International Law!
The Jewish People’s historical right to the land of Greater Israel had been recognized by the international community and upheld by the rule of public international law. Greater Israel was and is the homeland of the Jewish people. In the past 4,000 plus years it has not been the homeland of any other people. Although is was occupied by various conquerors who destroyed the land and made it desolate and barren. When the Jewish people returned in greater numbers the land blossomed, turned green and fruitful.
Any view that contradicts this statement is pure distortion of the facts and history.
Israel is not obliged to support the creation of an Arab state west of the Jordan river alongside Israel and it must not concede to any such arrangement or the security and survival of Israel will be compromised.
The Oslo Agreements (which is now null and void) were made with a view to enhance “a just, lasting and comprehensive peace.” Yet, since their coming into effect the Middle East has witnessed not peace but more violence of the worst kind in recent history. As of today the Oslo agreement is null and void. The Arab Palestinians have not lived up to any of the agreement. The Arab Palestinians promote, preach and teach their children and the masses to create terror, violence and suicide bombing. Their only goal is the destruction of the Jewish State, read the Palestinian and Hamas Charter.
The establishment of the Palestinian Authority should serve as a “guide to the bewildered” of the grave risks posed by such an Arab State, which may eventually lead to the destruction of the Jewish State. Any land for peace compromise by Israel has made the situation worse. Sadly, appeasement and concessions by Israel only aggravated the situation and increased violence. Israel must stand its ground, resist unjust world pressure and protect its citizens at all costs. Any concessions by Israel will only make the situation worse and bring about more violence and death, as the past experience has proven. The Summer of 2014 Gaza war only reaffirms the conviction that Israel must not under any circumstances concede any territory to the Arabs.
Under public international law, Israel is entitled to diligently encourage and promote close Jewish settlement of the land of Israel, thereby realizing the principles set out by the San Remo Treaty of 1920 and the League of Nations in the original Mandate document. In 1922 in violation of the treaty, the British gave away 80% of the land allocated to the Jewish people and gave it to the Arabs to set-up a state that never existed in history. There was also an agreement in 1919 signed by King Faisal and Chaim Weizmann agreeing that all of Palestine belongs to the Jewish people (The British wanted to protect their oil interests). After WWI, The Allied powers set up 21 Arab states on over 5 million sq. mi.and one Jewish state in the Mandate for Palestine at the San Remo Treaty of 1920. There was no allocation of the Mandate for Palestine to any other people or nation, only the Jewish people.
In addition at that time, the Allied powers also allocated land for 21 Arab States and one Jewish State. If you questions Israel’s borders, you must question the 21 Arab States borders and Jordan. Therefore, you are not modifying any of the 21 Arab states and Jordan’s territory, you cannot modify Israel’s territory either. Only Israel via a treaty signed and executed by both parties with its neighbors can change the terms of the San Remo Treaty of 1920.
It is also important to address the expulsion of over a million Jewish people from the Arab countries and the confiscation of assets, businesses, homes and land owned by Jewish people in the Arab countries, totaling over 120,000 sq. km. (6 times the size of Israel) valued in the trillions of dollars.
The Jewish people resettled the million Jewish refugees from the Arab countries. It is about time the Arab countries who expelled the million Jewish people and confiscated their assets and land, must settle the Arab-Palestinian refugees once and for all without compromising Israel and bring about peace and tranquility to the region.
Neither the U.N. nor any Country in the world has the authority to create a state or dissolve a state, (check the U.N. charter it can only recommend and international law.)
A true peace will bring about an economic boom to the region of which the world has never seen before. It will raise the standard of living for all the people in the Middle East and accelerate peace and harmony.
It will also divert the billions of dollars invested in war materials to be used to advance the economy, medical and social services and more.

  • Israel does not have to defend its’ legitimacy! r4
Israel’s rights to the land is ingrained in history, archaeological findings, international law and possession. Just like the Arab States have not been required to defend their legitimacy, Israel should also not be required to defend its’ legitimacy. The 21 Arab States and the State of Israel were set up by the Allied Powers after WWI, when the Ottoman Empire relinquished its title to the territories to the Allied Powers. The British were assigned as trustee for the Jewish people to help reconstitute the Jewish State as Implemented by the San Remo Treaty of 1920. The San Remo Treaty adopted the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Of importance is the fact treaty terms and documents prove there was no state allocation of land to any other people or nation other than the Jewish people in Israel. It should also be noted the League of Nations set up the Mandate for Palestine as a State for the Jewish people with exclusive political rights.
The Jewish people who lived in Israel for over 4,000 had additional Jewish immigration in the mid 1800. The local Jewish people with the infusion of more Jewish immigration, resources, funding and with the explicit permission by the Ottoman government, started developing the land. Within a short time the Jewish people started turning the desert and desolation into green pastures, thus, building an economy, agriculture, housing and industry. Many Arabs from neighboring depressed states who viewed this development as an opportunity for work and an improved standard of living, came to work in Palestine.
It is of interest in this conflict to take into consideration. The Arab countries expelled over a million Jews, confiscated their assets, businesses, homes and land 5-6 times the size of Israel. Most of these expelled Jews from Arab countries were resettled in Greater Israel.
Over the past 68 years Israel has become a thriving nation with exemplary innovation in education, technology, high tech industry and medicine. Many nations admire Israel’s outstanding development and innovation. Israel has always been extending a helping hand to any nation that wants to learn and advance in industry, technology and medicine.
The Arab-Palestinians saw an opportunity to get land and a country that was developed and flourished by the Jewish people. They decided that through intimidation, harassment and violence to usurp the Jewish habitants into capitulating to their scheme of an Arab-Palestinian State on Land allocated to the Jewish people . The Arab-Palestinians live on charity from the nations of the world. They are unwilling to help themselves. After the 1967 war when Israel defeated the 5 Arab armies who tried to destroy it, Israel started employing many of the Arabs in the liberated Jewish territory, educating them in agriculture and water resources. In the following years the standard of living of the Arabs jumped 5 fold and more, and their economy and housing blossomed. When the terrorist organization entered the picture and instigated the Arab population to start terror and violence against the Israelis, the economic advancement was slowed down if not halted. The dire predicament of the Arab-Palestinians is of their own making.
If you look at Arab land it is desolate and barren, with few exceptions. At the same time, the Jewish land is blooming and developing at an accelerated tempo. The Arabs, rather than follow the example set by Israel, tried to take the Jewish land by force and lost 4 wars in a span of 25 years.
The Arab-Palestinians current actions in the political and legal arena is a result of losing 4 wars and various battles with Israel. They not only could not win ground, but in fact have caused themselves a downward spiral toward economic desolation.
The Arab-Palestinians have switched tactics and have now gained more ground and concessions by playing the peace game. The Arab-Palestinians obfuscation and disinformation campaign along with various pleadings in front of the U.N. and other International bodies has gained them more inroads. The power of oil and the Arab Countries, who do not want the Arab-Palestinians to return to their countries, are helping them promote the false information, and utilizing their numerical control in the U.N. to pass any resolution that they deem necessary to advance their cause.
Money, power and greed promoted hate and anti-Semitism by the Arabs in order to force Israel into surrendering territory to the Arab-Palestinians. The Arabs are trying to initiate land piracy camouflaged as legal rights to the land of Israel.
Jewish resistance to persecution by the Arabs and the world at large: Any level headed individual would think that after WWII and the 6 million Jews exterminated in the Holocaust (plus another 5 million of other ethnic groups) would diminish, if not eliminate anti-Semitism and baseless hatred. It seems that no matter the amount of unwarranted persecution, and no matter the sacrifices the Jewish people have endured through the ages, Anti-Semitism continues to raise its ugly head.
The Media is guilty of escalating hostilities and violence in Israel and elsewhere. The Media has a responsibility to deliver fair and unbiased reporting. They influence the information that people rely on. It is an awesome responsibility and it must be handled with factual un-slanted reporting. Peoples lives depend on it; maybe yours or someone you love. Do we need a legal task force to discipline the Media when they intentionally distort the truth and or stage events for Media sensationalism? I would like your comments and input.
The affects on the world at large: Has humanity lost its values and fairness? The answer is no. In order to lose something, one must first possess it and the truth is, the world has never had total control of values and fairness. In today’s world, where money and power is pursued at all costs (see Machiavelli) , the core family unit is disintegrating and family values deteriorating. Honesty, integrity and fair-play seem to be a thing of the past. Where are we as human beings of the 21st century heading? Obviously downward.
Take some time to reflect on the truth of what is stated here. Do you really want this kind of world for your children? Senseless hate and destruction must not be tolerated. I urge you to wake up, take the bull by the horn and pursue a path of correction, or we are doomed as a civilized people.

In Israel, in order to be a realist you must believe in miracles.
    Ben Gurion
“Nobody does Israel any service by proclaiming its ‘right to exist.’ [As a Jewish State] Israel’s right to exist, like that of the United States, Saudi Arabia and 152 other states, is axiomatic and unreserved. Israel’s legitimacy is not suspended in midair awaiting acknowledgement. . . .There is certainly no other state, big or small, young or old, that would consider mere recognition of its ‘right to exist’ a favor, or a negotiable concession.”
    Abba Eban

  • P.S. How many holidays do the Arabs celebrate due to historical events in the land of ancient Israel. The Jewish people celebrate most of their holidays and fast days in memory of and the goal and aspiration to return to Israel and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem – where it was before it was destroyed and desecrated by the enemies of the Jews. Many of the Jewish prayers for thousands of years recite the love of Israel and the Jewish aspirations to return to their ancestral land and bring back its glory and holiness.

  • J Street isn’t a lobby but a front group, just like those set up by the Nazis and Communists. It’s goal isn’t peace or support for anything in particular, other than fooling Jews into supporting whatever the Obama Administration wants. It’s views aren’t just irrelevant, they’re redundant: we’re already hearing them from Obama and Kerry.

  • Two states are mutually exclusive. The US administration is giving free hand to Islamists (Shia & Sunnis) to destroy Israel.
A 2nd holocaust is in the cards of the US President. But Israel has the capacity to destroy a good part of the world, before it is destroyed.

  1. Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria is Jewish territory - No annexation is required
If anything it may need to be re-incorporated or re-patriated.
Let me pose an interesting scenario. If you had a country and it was conquered by foreign powers over a period of time. After many years you have taken back you country and land in various defensive wars. Do you have to officially annex those territories? It was always your territory and by retaking control and possession of your territory it is again your original property and there is no need to annex it. The title to your property is valid today as it was many years before.
Annexation only applies when you are taking over territory that was never yours to begin with, just like some European countries annexed territories of other countries.

Jews hold title to the Land of Greater Israel even if outnumbered a million to one.
The fact that more foreigners than Jews occupied the Land of Israel during certain periods of time does not diminish true ownership. If my house is invaded by a family that is ten times larger that mine does that obviates my true ownership? The Land of Israel was given in perpetuity to the Jews by The Almighty, Creator of the World. While man made laws are subject to change the Laws of The Almighty are eternal. We are here because G-d keeps His promises.

  4. Face it - No Arab-Palestinian state west of the Jordan River
If you read the 1917 Balfour Declaration (Which emulated Napoleons 1799 letter to the Jewish community in Palestine promising that The National Home for The Jewish people will be reestablished in Palestine, as the Jews are the rightful owners). Nowhere does it state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River. The San Remo Conference of 1920 does not state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River, confirmed by Article 95 in the 1920 Treaty of Sevres. The Mandate for Palestine terms does not state an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. It specifically states a Jewish National Home in Palestine without limiting the Jewish territory in Palestine. It also states that the British should work with the Jewish Agency as the official representative of the Jews in Palestine to implement the National Home of the Jewish people in Palestine. I stress again; nowhere does it state that an Arab entity should be implemented west of the Jordan River.
As a matter of historical record, The British reallocated over 77% of Jewish Palestine to the Arab-Palestinians in 1922 with specific borders and Jordan took over additional territory like the Gulf of Aqaba which was not part of the allocation to Jordan.

No where in any of the above stated agreements does it provides for an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. The U.N. resolutions are non-binding with no legal standing, same applies to the ICJ. The Oslo Accords are null and void.

It is time to relocate the Arabs in Israel to Jordan and to the homes and the 120,000 sq. km. the Arab countries confiscated from the over a million Jewish families that they terrorized and expelled and those expelled Jews were resettled in Israel. They can use the trillions of dollars in reparations for the Jewish assets to finance the relocation of the Arabs and help set-up an economy and industry instead of living on the world charity. The Arab countries were allocated over 13 million sq. km. with a wealth of oil reserves.

Political Rights in Palestine aka The Land of Israel were granted only and exclusively to the Jews in all of Palestine
