Israel must declare: Possession is nine tenths of the law

Israel must declare: Possession is nine tenths of the law
Netanyahu’s speech in the U.N. is a shining example of a fundamental flaw in Israeli Public relations (hasbara): Israel doesn’t stop apologizing and asking for support. It never stops asking for permission. Other heads of state used the UN platform to tell other countries what to do. If we were a normal country, our Prime Minister would point to his audience with an accusatory finger and say, “you did this!” He would accuse the “moderate” Palestinian leadership of giving its children over to Hamas with their never-ending defiance.
It is about time we stop apologizing and start accusing the real opponents of peace “Moderate” Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen.
Netanyahu must make full use of the equating of Hamas and ISIS, an organization seen as a strategic threat to the West, by making clear that the failure to stop the former is a direct cause of the rise of the latter. He would make clear that to protect themselves they need to ensure that Israel, which stands on the front lines of the Islamist assault on the Western world, needs to be defended, as a statement, not a request, a demand, not a plea.
Our real problem is not anti-Semitism, the Muslims or even the settlements. Our real problem is our desire to be loved. By arguing that Israel is a small country surrounded by enemies and in need of allies we neglect the fact they need us no less than we need them. Just to show how desperate we are to be liked, as opposed to any other country on earth, we see the virulent criticism against our country as something positive to be listened to and absorbed. As though there is truly “constructive criticism” in the messy and Machiavellian world of international politics.
The EU has an article in every “association agreement” it reaches with Middle Eastern countries which deals with the preservation of Human Rights. Only with Israel does the EU threaten every so often to suspend the agreement for violating this article. Only is Israel subject to the possibility of harming of bilateral ties based on an issue not directly connected to them. Does anyone seriously doubt that the human rights situation in Israel is better than in Egypt, Syria or Algeria? Does anyone doubt that Israeli criticism of treatment of immigrants in Europe would be contemptuously rejected (justifiably!) as an unjustified attempt at interfering in another country’s internal affairs?
What’s is Israel's Dignity Worth?
The Nation of Israel has invaluable assets for a declining Europe. It provides a unique contribution to the west by fighting emerging Middle Eastern threats as the only western forward post in the region with intelligence and operational capabilities which are second to none. It even has what to contribute in helping to ensure and improve moral standards in fighting terror. Time and again, we try to cooperate with a world which speaks of morals and justice but in truth is run primarily by “personal goals, fear and interest.”
We are so desperate to be a member of the club of liberal democracies that we don’t even try to use these assets as the price of admission, but forgo them in the pointless hope that we will be loved enough on the merits to be allowed to join. We reject with contempt the idea of tying our support for fighting just causes in exchange for support in fights no less just.
Even the most moral countries (which are not Israel) see first and foremost to their own interests. They have no incentive to help Israel when the price for this is paid in negative public opinion in their own country and abroad, when they can get what they want from Israel for free. On the contrary, they have an incentive to force Israel to standards no other country is held to – and unfortunately, Israel agrees to them far too often.

After the Six Day War (in other words, right after the infamous “occupation”) the liberation of our ancestral lands, we were admired the world over. Now we’re just repeatedly used. We supposedly dishonored the victory – not the Arab states, not anti-Semitism and not even “Peace Now.” Israel. The Israeli leadership which keeps begging and pleading for the world to “recognize Israel’s right to exist” are helping to cause horrific damage to Israel throughout the world.

  1. United States official position on Jerusalem

In 1990 the United States Senate adopted a resolution "acknowledging Jerusalem as Israel's capital" and stating that it "strongly believes that Jerusalem must remain an undivided city." The subsequent Clinton Administration refused to characterize East Jerusalem as being under occupation and viewed it as a territory over
which sovereignty was defined. Vice President Gore stated that the US viewed "united Jerusalem" as the capital of Israel. In light of this
designation, the US has since abstained
from Security Council resolutions which use language which construes East Jerusalem as forming part of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). In 1995, Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act which declared that Jerusalem should remain undivided and that it should be recognized as Israel's capital.

    PUBLIC LAW 104–45—NOV. 8, 1995
    JERUSALEM EMBASSY ACT OF 1995
    Public Law 104–45 104th Congress
An Act To provide for the relocation of the United States Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and for other purposes.

  2. Nobody cares about international law - its Sharia now
You can quote international law, treaty, convention and UN charter but nobody cares any more. The UN and the 57 Islamic states run on Sharia. The West has capitulated and abandoned the rule of law on international matters. Israel doesn't even bother to demand its rights. The world has changed and only might is right, only might is respected. Negotiations are for wimps and losers.

  3. Mahmoud Abbas belongs in jail. Israel should send troops to arrest him for inciting to riot and promoting terrorism against Israel.

Israel must use its resources to stop this terror and violence in its tracks immediately. Israel does not have the time and the liberty to sacrifice more Jewish lives. It is the soft hand approach and the delusion of concessions and appeasement to the Arabs, while they continue to attack and terrorize Jews in their own homeland that has brought Israel to this crucial crossroads.

Enough is enough. This cat and mouse treatment has been going on since 1948. Call in the reserves and start implementing Marshall Law or Military law on the Arabs. Zero tolerance and any violence must be reacted with full force. No hesitation on the use of live ammunition and the expulsion of the violator and his family and all their assets confiscated to pay for the damages. Stop equivocating and give excuses. No excuse will be accepted except the total vanquishing Arab terror and violence in Greater Israel.

After years of Arab deception, to believe peace is possible is a delusion, and another mistake.
The Arabs have a state, which is Jordan. Jordan illegally occupied and confiscated about 80% of the land allocated to Jews under international law and treaties of post WWI. The Arabs also have over 75,000 square miles of land (which is 6 times the size of Israel) which the Arab countries illegally confiscated from the million expelled Jewish families.

It is time to take another approach. Forego all peace talks until the Arabs can prove they can control their population and live with the Jews in peaceful coexistence for at least 5 years. Furthermore, Arabs must eliminate the education of its people to commit terror and violence; replacing it with education and practice of living in harmony and coexistence. Nothing less will be accepted. It is not negotiable.

  4. My mother-in-law was sent to the gas chamber in Auschwitz three times. Somehow she crawled out between the legs of others and survived while losing most of her family in the Nazi extermination camps. I proudly say and practice, NEVER AGAIN. Enough is enough. Ghetto mentality of capitulation is over.

I will not and cannot cower to Arab terrorism, violence, intimidation, and threats, etc. Furthermore, I am confident no self respecting Israeli is willing to cower to terrorism and violence. To prevent such a scenario, Israel must go on an unrelenting offense to claim and take back what belongs to Israel and its people. World opinion be damned.

The time for negotiation and compromise is over.

Now, Israel needs to arrest the convicted terrorist and murderer Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen the corrupt leader of the Arab PA. He is responsible for the Munich massacre and the Achille Lauro hijacking and murder of a wheelchair bound Jewish passenger. Abbas is inciting terror and violence. It cannot and must not be ignored, he is a criminal that must be arrested and punished.

Arab terror and violence has nullified any agreements with Israel

Israel should give a 90 day notice the UN and the world at large that it intends to exercise its historical and international rights under the international law and treaties post WWI which are still in effect and have not been superseded. Under those treaties all of Palestine is in effect belongs to Israel. Israel will no longer tolerate the deceptive term of occupation by Israel; it is internationally guaranteed Jewish land liberated by Israel. It is the Arabs who are the occupiers.

  5. “Jerusalem is the heart and soul of the Jewish people and the capital of Israel for eternity.”
FACT IS: Ever since the Jews entered the land of Israel in 1300 BCE and King David made Jerusalem the capital of Israel more than 3,000 years ago; then King Solomon built the Jewish Temple, the city has played a central role in Jewish existence. The Western Wall in the Old City is the object of Jewish veneration and the focus of Jewish prayer. Three times a day and in daily blessings, for thousands of years, Jews have prayed “To Jerusalem, thy city, shall we return with joy,” and have repeated the Psalmist’s oath: “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.” Jerusalem “has known only two periods of true greatness, and these have been separated by 2,000 years. Greatness has only happened under Jewish rule,” a famous writer wrote in Jerusalem. “This is so because the Jews have loved her the most, and have remained constant in that love and devotion throughout the centuries of their dispersion. . . . It is the longest, deepest spiritual love affair in history.” “It is for three thousand years, Jerusalem has been the center of Jewish hope and longing. No other city has played such a dominant role in the history, culture, religion and consciousness of a people as has Jerusalem in the life of Jewry and Judaism. Throughout centuries of exile, Jerusalem remained alive in the hearts of Jews everywhere as the focal point of Jewish history, the symbol of ancient glory, spiritual fulfillment and modern renewal. The Jews for the past 2,000 years have celebrated holidays and observed fast days in memory of Jerusalem, the hope and aspiration to return to Jerusalem and rebuilt the Jewish Temple. At Jewish wedding ceremonies a dish is broken in memory of Jerusalem. This heart and soul of the Jewish people engenders the thought that if you want one simple word to symbolize all of Jewish history, that word would be ‘Jerusalem.’ ” “The Jewish people without Jerusalem; is like a human body without a soul”.

  8. 58 Synagogues in Jerusalem destroyed by the Arabs and cemeteries desecrated.
Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue was destroyed on 21st of May 1948.

May 28, 1948: The Jewish quarter of the old city of Jerusalem falls to the Jordan Legion. The inhabitants were protected from the wrath of a lynch mob by the Legion under Abdullah Tell, and noncombatants were expelled to West Jerusalem.
Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue before 1947. It was destroyed by the Arabs

About 300 Haganah defenders were taken prisoner and sent to Jordan. The entire quarter including 58 of the 59 synagogues was demolished by the Arab mob that has no respect for other holy sites.
Synagogues in Gaza set on fire September 2005:

Islamic Destruction of Hindu Temples and other holy sites throughout the world.

This is a common Arab-Muslim practice.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish territory for over two millennium and has been since prior to the building of the two Jewish temples. It is a historical fact that King David of Israel paid the Jebusites money to purchase that property, in order to avoid conflict. Israel, after liberating Jerusalem and Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism in 1967, Israel graciously permitted the Arabs to continue to pray at Temple Mount.

The time has come to terminate said arrangement. Jewish worshippers have suffered years of abuse by Arabs committing unwarranted acts of violence on a consistent basis. Israel has the right, duty and obligation to revoke the unappreciated privilege formally granted. It is the Arabs who are defiling The Jewish "Holy of Holies".

It is time for Israel to take back Jewish its sacred ground, which is the holiest site in Judaism, once and for all.

I am sure Arabs would not permit anyone in the world to build and control the holy Site in Mecca. Let the Arabs have Mecca, and the Judeo-Christian people have Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

  10. According to International law and treaties of post WWI, which allocated over 5 million square miles of territory to the Arabs and the 75,000 square miles of Palestine to the Jewish people, Jordan and Gaza is part of Israel, since they were part of Palestine. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the president of Egypt stated that he would give land in the Sinai with ocean front for the Arab Palestinians. Whether Jordan likes it or not over 70% of its population is Arabs who call themselves Palestinians.
(The UN has violated the law and the Charter of the UN by allocating Jewish territory under international law and treaties to Jordan. The UN Partition of Israel was also a violation of the UN Charter. Israel accepted, but the Arabs rejected the partition, that makes the UN partition recommendation of 1947 mute and meaningless.
Israel was reconstituted in 1920 by International law and treaties, including the 1919 Faisal Weizmann Agreement. Israel took over sovereign control on May 14, 1947 after the British abandoned their obligation and the Jewish people became a majority in the land).
People must remember that the Arab countries have terrorized, persecuted and expelled over a million Jewish families and confiscated all their assets, including over 120,000 square km. of land valued in the trillions of dollars, and most of those expelled Jewish families were resettled in Greater Israel. The Arabs expelled the million Jewish families from their Arab countries (after living there for over 2400 years, a thousand years before Islam was created), the million expelled Jewish families from Arab countries were resettled in Israel and now they want to expel them again from their own historical ancestral land.
Let the Arabs from Israel relocate to the Jewish homes and land confiscated by the Arab countries.
